FESTIVE FAMILY FUN AT WARWICK CASTLE
6 December – 4 January
If you go down to the woods today, you’re in for a big surprise...because Warwick Castle has transformed its castle grounds into a magical Christmas Tree Forest for children to explore.
Featuring up to 600 towering Christmas trees, breathtaking ice effect sculptures and a menagerie of magical creatures, the forest sets the scene for what promises to be Warwick Castle’s best Christmas yet.
A whole host of festive children’s characters will be making the castle their home throughout the month of December, from the Christmas Elf and naughty Jack Frost to the Fairytale Princess and Snowflake Fairy. And with a jam-packed programme of kids’ events planned, the only problem visitors will have is finding time to fit it all in.
Little princesses will love Story Time with the Snowflake Fairy, daily. Against the backdrop of the castle’s lavishly decorated State Rooms and with the castle’s merry band of minstrels providing the soundtrack, children will be transported to another world through the magic of storytelling.
Meanwhile, kids with an adventurous streak can explore the castle and grounds on foot by taking part in the Christmas Tree Trail in the Central Courtyard or Jack Frost’s Hunt for the Fairytale Princess.
For all those boys and girls who’ve been naughty and nice, Warwick Castle will be holding an Audience with Santa throughout December. Children and parents alike can enjoy games, carol-singing and a spot of breakfast or afternoon tea with Santa’s elves – followed by an audience with the man in red himself. Each child will also receive a very special gift to take home. To book your session with Santa, contact Santa’s team of helpers on 0870 442 2000.
The Christmas Tree Forest will be open from 6 December – 4 January. For more information visit warwick-castle.com or call 0870 442 2000

Rather expensive to take the family. Very much enjoy going when there is an event on. We would like to make more use of the gardens but it simply costs too much to go regularly.
Went on xmas eve 07 and it was amazing with ice skating and stalls selling lovely food and mulled wine. Xmas just gone wasn't! They had a small xmas tree land which was ok - but no stalls, no mulled wine, nothing - please bring it all back for next year. On a positive note, there is a new play area - but it's a large entrance fee to use, as once your kids have seen the castle once, thats it - special rate for locals needed!
