The museum is a unique aeronautical collection and unlike most museums it is self funding.
The Sir Frank Jet Heritage Centre, is dedicated to the life and work of engineer, and inventor of the jet engine,Sir Frank Whittle (1907-1996).
The large exhibition hall houses Wing over Coventry, The humber Gallery,The Armstrong Whitworth, The Whitley Gallery ,Engine collection, Model collections.
The museum is home to over 40 aircraft ranging from early aircraft to jets including the Argosy,sea harrier,vulcan and the canberra, starfighter ,lightning t-55 , hind
You can also experience sitting in the vulcan cockpit and the argosy.
We open more aircraft on our special event days and bank holidays weather permitting.
